Kahaani

The national award winning actress Vidya Balan is all set to dominate the cine industry with another film "Kahaani" after she bagged all the awards for her outstanding performance in "The Dirty Picture".

The beautiful and talented Vidya is the perfect face for all types of the characters. Therefore, she could able to glorify the sensuousness as well as the yearnings of Silk Smitha in "The Dirty Picture".

From “Parineeta” to “The Dirty Picture”, she has proved that she is comfortable in traditional looks as well as the vulgar costumes. She is the only actress, who needs no more dominating male actor to drive the film into success.

In "Kahaani", Vidya will appear in another avatar - a pregnant lady searching for her missing hubby in the crowd city of Kolkata. She plays a role of Vidya Bagchi, who arrives in Kolkata from London to find her husband.

This is a story of a seven-month pregnant woman, alone in a festive city, begins a relentless search for her husband. She faces varieties of situation on her way. The situation she daringly faces when all try to convince her that her husband is no more. She is roaming in the city here and there with nothing except memories of her husband.

The woman has no clues about her husband in the city. Still, she is searching with a hope that she will find her husband one day. She realises that the city is filled in lies and betrayal. She moves on and on with strong determination that she will unravel the truth about her husband for herself and her unborn baby.

"Kahaani" boasts of a dominating script, which has been nicely directed by Sujoy Ghosh with authoritative central character. The film has thought-provoking moments, which will positively force an individual to think of the protagonist.

The film will no doubt put some impact on audiences' mind. The critics might have many points to analyse the film, but the audiences will simply be impressed with the mind-blowing performances of Vidya. The film is set to be released on this Friday. Let's wait for the audiences and critics' rating.
